Vlinder Expressive Arts Therapy studio is a safe place for your child to expand their emotional intelligence, grow their confidence and build their inner resilience resources.
This wonderful curriculum incorporates meditation techniques and children’s literature combined with art activities that encourage self-expression, self-awareness and social confidence. Utilising theories of art therapy, psychology, and holistic practice, the Vlinder Children’s Art program focuses on helping each child excel at their own pace in a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth.
A Creative and Fun Art Program for Kids
The Vlinder Children’s Art program is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 12, and its transpersonal approach welcomes families from all walks of life, diverse cultural backgrounds and circumstances. Our Vlinder art activities for kids incorporates valuable life lessons and imparts practical life skills that all children can use, now and into the future. These skills can then help children navigating transitions and experiencing challenges.
Veronica takes care in facilitating child focused sessions that change with the needs and progression of your child. The Vlinder Children’s Art program also compliments government National Quality Frameworks including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the after-school care program My Time, Our Place (MTOP).
Our Vlinder Children’s Art Activity Program Has Limited Numbers, Nurturing Developing Social Skills
Our Vlinder Childen’s Art program for kids is limited to 8 students per class. This allows Veronica to spend one on one time with each student, giving her the ability to address each student’s needs and adapt future sessions around those needs.
Having such a small group also means that children can interact with one another and learn social skills in a relaxed environment.
Our Vlinder Children’s Art Program Helps Kids Develop Creative and Critical Thinking Skills
As a qualified Art Therapist, Veronica is passionate about helping children develop creative and critical thinking skills they can utilise in every area of their life as they grow. Veronica delivers each session in a way that helps children see the possible differences they can make to the world, and how as a citizen they can contribute to society. Our Vlinder Children’s Art program is as much about fun and learning new skills, as it is about helping children realise their true potentials and passions.
Further Support is Always Available
If your child loves our Vlinder Children’s Art Program and is currently experiencing a transition or challenging time, there is always further support available. Veronica values open communication with parents and strives to work together with families to ensure the needs of each child are met. If you find your child requires further support, you can always speak with Veronica about one to one art therapy sessions, family group sessions or related workshops.
Each art activity that is experienced during the session by each child is documented on the app called “Storypark”. This app allows Veronica to share art and progress with family members, teachers or other professionals who may be interested in your child’s development during the Therapeutic Art sessions.
